We were very pleased with the planning you did for us and there were very few problems. Overall, the experiences, guides, hotels and transportation were great.
In particular, we enjoyed the trip to the estancia out of B.A. with the stop at San Antonio de Areco. The guide was exceptional and deserves special credit for making a very special day for us. The guide that drove us from El Calafate to Torres des Paines was very good and we appreciated him very much as well as being an excellent driver. Our trip on the Gourmet Glacier Experience was just the best and we would highly recommend it to anyone. The trip to the Penguin Rookery was outstanding and the guide excellent.
Of the things we had trouble with was the driver who picked us up at Ushuaia. It all seemed a mix up and the young man was reading and driving and didn't seem to know which end was up. We did tell the front desk when we arrived at the hotel, but it was a ride from Hell.
I seem to remember the info about the hotel in El Calafate saying it was 2 k's from town, but I believe it is at least 4. There were no cabs available the weekend we were there and we ended up eating at the hotel 3 nights. They had a limited menu and each night only half of dishes were available.
The last disappointment was the tour on the Brazilian side of Iguassu Falls. It was a huge group and it took a very long time for them to collect all the people at the end. It was very hot and we had to wait at the elevator seemingly forever. If we had been in a smaller group and able to escape, we would have been much happier.
There are always these things that happen, but maybe this will be of help. We greatly appreciated all the efforts on your part and I would happily recommend your agency to anyone I know planning a similar trip.
