We really enjoyed our recent trip to Argentina and Uruguay.
The excursion you had arranged for us in Salta was very interesting, but maybe a little long (I know the program did warn us that it would be a long day). But it was very beautiful to see the mountains and all the different landscapes, and the guide was great! The hotel in Salta, Design Suites, was a little different from what we normally see. I can imagine the minimalist style might not be to everyone's tastes, however, we really liked it, and the staff was very friendly too.
Overall we were very impressed with how timely everything worked, from the flights departing on time, the ferry to Montevideo etc - we are not used to this punctuality in London!
All in all a very nice holiday - we are definitely coming back to Argentina!
